Guns & Hoses 6 with 911 Gives Hope is tonight at the Ford Center beginning at 7pm, doors open at 6pm. All the proceeds from the event will be distributed to children's charities in the Evansville area. Guns & Hoses is a charity boxing match between local police officers and fire fighters, which has grown to one of the biggest sporting events in the area.

The NCAA-GLVC Conference Men's Basketball Tournament is coming to Evansville's Ford Center Thursday, March 7 through Sunday, March 10. As you know, both the University of Southern Indiana and Kentucky Wesleyan are in the GLVC. The basketball action will be exciting and so will the Family Fun Fest on Sat., March 9.

There will be a very special feature this Saturday night that will be fun for the entire family. The Russian Bar Trio will perform between periods. The Russian Bar Trio performs a very unique brand of acrobatics that combines acrobatics and gymnastics.

The Evansville Icemen will be home this Friday and Saturday night at the Ford Center. Saturday night will be Faith night with a post game concert. Saturday night will also feature a Teddy Bear Toss to benefit 911 Gives Hope so, bring a teddy bear or two to throw on the ice. A teddy bear toss is really something to see if you have never seen one.

The Evansville Icemen had a shaky start to the season with a few consecutive losses, but they are beginning to turn things around with a couple of home wins and a big win Thursday night against Cincinnati. Dan Gendur scored the go ahead goal with 1:11 remaining in regulation to secure a 4-3 win for the Icemen.
