While the pandemic isn't officially over, it seems the worst of it is behind us which has led nearly every country artist to get back on the road a tour like they used to. The Tri-State has been fortunate enough to see a number of those artists add us to their itinerary, including Morgan Wallen who played to a sold-out crowd at the Ford Center in April, along with Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Cody Johnson, and others who are all scheduled to stop by before the year is through. 2022 has definitely been a good year so far for concert fans, particularly country concert fans, and it just got better with the announcement that Brantley Gilbert will be dropping by the Ford Center for a show on his 2022 tour.

We must show Brantley a lot of love when he comes to town. The upcoming show on August 13th will mark the third time he's played here since 2017. His last show was at Ford Center on February 20th, 2020, just a few weeks before the pandemic began and the world shut down.

Since emerging on the country music scene in 2010, Brantley quickly became a star. His song "Country Must Be Country Wide" from his second album, Modern Day Prodigal Son, released in March of 2010, became a number one hit, while the album itself reached #2 on the iTunes Country Album Charts and #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Album Chart for all genres.

That was just the beginning. His next three albums, 2014's Just the Way I Am, 2015's Read Me My Rights, and 2017's The Devil Don't Sleep, all went platinum for selling over one million copies.

He's also been a successful songwriter for other artists having written songs for Colt Ford, as well as two of Jason Aldean's biggest hits, "Dirt Road Anthem" and "My Kinda Party." The two recently collaborated again, this time with both men in front of the microphone for a song called, "Rolex® on a Redneck."
