‘WWE Smackdown’ Returning to the Ford Center in Evansville in November
The Evansville area loves WWE and WWE loves the Evansville area right back. For the second time in 2023, the company is bringing WWE Smackdown back to the Ford Center for a nationally televised broadcast in November.
The last time the show came to town was back in February ahead of Wrestlemania and featured this confrontation between then WWE Women's Champion, Charlotte Flair, Dominik Mysterio, and her Wrestlemania opponent, Rhea Ripley.
Who knows what will happen when the show rolls back into town on Friday, November 17th, which is part of the fun, right? Seeing that it will be the second-to-last episode of Smackdown before the always-entertaining Survivor Series pay-per-view, there's no doubt the show will have some big things planned as the superstars gear up for that event.
While we obviously won't know what will happen that night, we do know the following superstars are scheduled to be in the building:
- LA Knight
- Charlotte Flair
- United States Champion Rey Mysterio
- Austin Theory
- A.J. Styles
Obviously, that's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. More stars and matches will be announced in the coming weeks as the show date gets closer.
