This little girl is a  and is ready to find his forever home. Let's learn more about this week's pet of the week, Torvi!

The Warrick Humane Society is an established no-kill shelter in Newburgh, Indiana. The shelter offers a safe place for animals to stay until they are adopted. Since the Warrick Humane Society does not receive any government funding, it relies on donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers to operate the shelter. They also have the Home Away Pet Spa, a grooming and boarding facility for the community, where all proceeds help the animals in the shelter.
The Warrick Humane Society has so many great cats and dogs in their care that need a loving forever home. So, there is an excellent likelihood that the WHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! That's why we are excited for this new partnership with WHS to feature a pet of the week every Thursday! Let's meet this week's Pet of the Week

Sweet, intelligent, loyal. These are all words you can use to describe Torvi. She is our Warrick Humane Society Pet of the Week. Torvi is looking for her forever home, and it's up to us as a community to help her find it! Here's what the Warrick Humane Society had to say about our little friend, Torvi:

Torvi is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who is ready to find her forever home.
Torvi has made a wonderful impression on everyone who has met her. While we don't know much about her past, it's easy to see that she is a sweet, intelligent dog with so much love to give. She has a gentle nature, enjoys spending time with people, and has the kind of loyal personality that German Shepherd lovers know and adore. Torvi also does well with other dogs. She is still a young dog with plenty of energy for adventures, walks, and playtime.
Torvi is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, and prevention, is microchipped, and spayed. She is ready to go home!
If you're interested in adopting Torvi, please fill out an adoption application on our website at warrickhumanesociety.org/adoption. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. You're also welcome to come meet her. We're open Wed–Thu 12–7 and Fri–Sun 12–4.

If you are thinking about adding a new furry family member, Torvi is waiting. Don't wait, you can meet her at the WHS today!
