Warrick Humane Society Pet of the Week: Nora

This sweet girl, Nora, is our pet of the week, and she's looking for her furever home.

The Warrick Humane Society is an established no-kill shelter in Newburgh, Indiana. The shelter offers a safe place for animals to stay until they are adopted. Since the Warrick Humane Society does not receive any government funding, it relies on donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers to operate the shelter. They also have the Home Away Pet Spa, a grooming and boarding facility for the community, where all proceeds help the animals in the shelter.

The Warrick Humane Society has so many great cats and dogs in their care that need a loving forever home. So, there is an excellent likelihood that the WHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Meet our Piece of Cake Pet of the Week, Nora!

I love animals with human names! Especially when their personality matches the name. Nora is our pet of the week, and she is adorable and super laid back. She's looking for his forever home, and it's up to us as a community to help her find it! Here's what the Warrick Humane Society had to say about our little friend, Nora:

Nora is a 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair who is looking for her forever home.
Nora has now been waiting for 80 days, and we're hoping her perfect family is just around the corner. She came to us from Warrick County Animal Control and has been winning over everyone she meets with her calm, easy going personality.
If you're looking for a laid-back companion, Nora might be the perfect match. She loves lounging in cozy spots, taking long naps, and soaking up a peaceful afternoon. She's incredibly sweet and handles the many different personalities in our cat room with ease, making her a wonderful addition to a variety of households.
Nora is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, prevention, and is spayed. She is ready to go home!
If you're interested in adopting Nora, please fill out an adoption application on our website at warrickhumanesociety.org/adoption. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. You're also welcome to come meet her. We're open Wednesday and Thursday from 12–7 and Friday through Sunday from 12–4.
