June Carter Cash Would Adopt This WHS Pet of the Week

Meet June: The Piece Of Cake Pet Of The Week From WHS

June Carter Cash loved animals, and I have a good feeling she would love the Pet of the Week this week. For starters, they have the same name. Canine June is a 4-year-old Shepherd mix that's ready to go home with you today. The Warrick Humane Society is an established no-kill shelter in Newburgh, Indiana. The shelter offers a safe place for animals like June to stay until they are adopted. Since the Warrick Humane Society does not receive any government funding, it relies on donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers to operate the shelter. Don't forget to check out the Home Away Pet Spa, a grooming and boarding facility for the community, where all proceeds help the animals in the shelter. The Warrick Humane Society has far too many dogs and cats in their care that need a loving home and family to call their own forever. With endless options of cats, dogs, and other animals, WHS will surely have the dream pet to complete your family! Let's meet this week's Piece of Cake Pet of the Week, June!

June is Ready to go to your Furever Home

It's hard to believe that June hasn't been adopted yet. Get your application in today by applying here. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. You can also stop by WHS and meet June! WHS is open Wed–Thu from 12–7 and Fri–Sun from 12–4. Here's what the Warrick Humane Society said about June:

"June is one of those dogs who may need a little time to show you who she really is, but once she feels comfortable, you'll quickly discover just how special she is. She's smart, loyal, eager to please, and genuinely wants to build a connection with her people." -Warrick Humane Society
