This good boy is fun-loving and ready to find his forever home. Let's learn more about this week's pet of the week, Rowdy!

The Warrick Humane Society is an established no-kill shelter in Newburgh, Indiana. The shelter offers a safe place for animals to stay until they are adopted. Since the Warrick Humane Society does not receive any government funding, it relies on donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers to operate the shelter. They also have the Home Away Pet Spa, a grooming and boarding facility for the community, where all proceeds help the animals in the shelter.
The Warrick Humane Society has so many great cats and dogs in their care that need a loving forever home. So, there is an excellent likelihood that the WHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! That's why we are excited for this new partnership with WHS to feature a pet of the week every Thursday! Let's meet this week's Pet of the Week

It's time to get Rowdy... literally! That's because Rowdy is our Warrick Humane Society Pet of the Week. He's looking for his forever home, and it's up to us as a community to help him find it! Here's what the Warrick Humane Society had to say about our little friend, Rowdy:

Rowdy is a 1-year-old, 68 lb English Setter/Great Dane mix who is ready to find his forever home. He came to us from another shelter after being surrendered through no fault of his own.

Rowdy is a smart, playful, and friendly boy who has been winning over our staff with his fun personality. He already knows “sit,” does well with routine, and is patient when being handled. He enjoys spending time with people, gets along well with other dogs, and absolutely loves to run and play.

With his medium to high energy level, Rowdy would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and continue learning. He’s a great mix of brains and personality, and he’s sure to make a loyal and entertaining companion.

Rowdy is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, and prevention, is microchipped, and neutered. He is ready to go home!

If you’re interested in giving Rowdy the loving home he deserves, please fill out an adoption application in person or on our website at warrickhumanesociety.org/adoption. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. You’re also welcome to stop by and meet him — we’re open Wed–Thu from 12–7 and Fri–Sun from 12–4.

If you are thinking about adding a new furry family member, Rowdy is waiting! You can meet him at the WHS today!
