This dog looks like a Roscoe! Let's learn more about this week's pet of the week, Roscoe!

The Warrick Humane Society is an established no-kill shelter in Newburgh, Indiana. The shelter offers a safe place for animals to stay until they are adopted. Since the Warrick Humane Society does not receive any government funding, it relies on donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers to operate the shelter. They also have the Home Away Pet Spa, a grooming and boarding facility for the community, where all proceeds help the animals in the shelter.
The Warrick Humane Society has so many great cats and dogs in their care that need a loving forever home. So, there is an excellent likelihood that the WHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! That's why we are excited for this new partnership with WHS to feature a pet of the week every Thursday! Let's meet this week's Pet of the Week

You know how you see a person, and you think that guy looks like a Jim or she looks like a Carroll?  You literally associate their looks with a certain name. That's the case with Roscoe here. He looks like a Roscoe. Well, ole Roscoe is looking for his forever home, and we want to help him find it. Here's what the Warrick Humane Society had to say about our little friend, Roscoe:

Roscoe is a 1-year-old Rottweiler mix who is ready to find his forever home. He came to us from Warrick County Animal Control, and while we don’t know much about his past, he has been incredibly sweet and friendly with everyone he’s met since arriving at the shelter.

Roscoe has quickly won over the hearts of our staff and volunteers. He’s a happy, affectionate boy who enjoys attention and spending time with people. His gentle and friendly nature makes him a joy to be around, and he’s been doing great meeting new faces here at the shelter.

Like many young dogs, Roscoe is still learning about the world and will benefit from a family that can continue guiding him as he grows. With his loving personality and eager-to-please attitude, we believe he will make a wonderful companion for a lucky adopter.

Roscoe is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, and prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered soon. He is ready to find a family of his own and is currently available for adoption.

If you’re interested in giving Roscoe the loving home he deserves, please fill out an adoption application on our website at warrickhumanesociety.org/adoption. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. You’re also welcome to stop by and meet him — we’re open Wed–Thu from 12–7 and Fri–Sun from 12–4.

If you are thinking about adding a new furry family member, Roscoe is waiting! You can meet him at the WHS today!
