A sweet and smart girl, Nola is looking for her forever home. Let's learn more about this week's pet of the week!

The Warrick Humane Society is an established no-kill shelter in Newburgh, Indiana. The shelter offers a safe place for animals to stay until they are adopted. Since the Warrick Humane Society does not receive any government funding, it relies on donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers to operate the shelter. They also have the Home Away Pet Spa, a grooming and boarding facility for the community, where all proceeds help the animals in the shelter.
The Warrick Humane Society has so many great cats and dogs in their care that need a loving forever home. So, there is an excellent likelihood that the WHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! That's why we are excited for this new partnership with WHS to feature a pet of the week every Thursday! Let's meet this week's Pet of the Week

Every good girl needs a loving home. I mean, look at that face! Nola is looking for a fresh start, and it's our goal to help her get just that.  Here's what the Warrick Humane Society had to say about our little friend, Asher:

Nola is a 2-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who is searching for her forever home. While we don’t know much about her past, it’s clear that Nola is a very sweet, intelligent, and affectionate girl who’s ready for a fresh start with a loving family.

Nola is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, and prevention, is microchipped, and spayed. Nola is a high-energy pup who thrives on activity, interaction, and mental stimulation. She’s incredibly smart and eager to learn, making her a great match for an active home that enjoys working with their dog and keeping life fun and engaging.

She has a loving, happy personality and enjoys spending time with people. Nola would do best in a home that can give her the exercise, attention, and structure she needs to shine.

If you’re interested in adopting Nola, please fill out an application on our website at warrickhumanesociety.org/adoption or in person at the shelter. Applications are reviewed in the order they’re received. You’re also welcome to stop by and meet her — we’re open Wed–Thu from 12–7 and Fri–Sun from 12–4.

If you are thinking about adding a new furry family member, it sounds like Nola is an ideal dog. You can meet him at the WHS today!
