The Warrick Humane Society is an established no-kill shelter in Newburgh, Indiana. The shelter offers a safe place for animals to stay until they are adopted. Since the Warrick Humane Society does not receive any government funding, it relies on donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers to operate the shelter. They also have the Home Away Pet Spa, a grooming and boarding facility for the community, where all proceeds help the animals in the shelter.

The Warrick Humane Society has so many great cats and dogs in their care that need a loving forever home. So, there is an excellent likelihood that the WHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Meet our Piece of Cake Pet of the Week, Pearly!

Little Pearly has been waiting for her chance at a family. She checks all the boxes when it comes to a great family dog. Pearly is our Warrick Humane Society Pet of the Week. She's looking for his forever home, and it's up to us as a community to help her find it! Here's what the Warrick Humane Society had to say about our little friend, Pearly:

Pearly is a 1-year-old Husky mix who is ready to find her forever home.
Pearly came to us from Evansville Animal Care & Control along with her puppies and has spent several months doing what moms do best: caring for her babies. Thanks to a loving foster home, she was able to raise her puppies in a safe environment, and now that they have grown and found homes of their own (besides Slate who is still waiting), it's finally Pearly's turn to be the one cared for and loved.
Pearly is an incredibly sweet and gentle girl with a kind, affectionate personality. She is eager to please and enjoys being around people. Despite her gentle nature, she also has a playful and energetic side. As a young Husky mix, she loves to run, play, and stay active, and she would thrive with a family that can give her plenty of exercise, attention, and adventures.
She also does wonderfully with other dogs and cats, making her a great fit for many different types of homes. Pearly has the perfect combination of sweetness and fun-loving energy and would make a wonderful companion for an active family looking for a loyal best friend.
Pearly is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, and prevention, is microchipped, and spayed. She is ready to go home!
