This sweet girl, Morticia, is looking for a forever home as our Vanderburgh Humane Society Pet of the Week.

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them of all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats that have been around for a while. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week from the VHS along with Piece of Cake Bakery, and this week we've got an adorable girl named Morticia!

Meet Morticia...

This good girl was one of the many animals that the VHS rescued from a Flordia shelter after the recent hurricane. Morticia is available for adoption right now, and she is perfect for any home. Here's what the Vanderburgh Humane Society says about Morticia:

Meet 5-year-old Morticia! This sweet and petite girl traveled on a plane all the way from Florida to be here and is one of the last from that group to find a home. She’s so much fun, lovable, and very smart. She loves a game of fetch (followed by lots of snuggles and treats) and truly just wants to be someone’s shadow. Can she be yours? Learn more about adopting Morticia at vhslifesaver.org, her adoption fee includes her spay, registered microchip, up-to-date vaccines, and a best friend for life.
