People-Loving Indiana Shelter Dog Ready to Find Her Forever Family
Meet Sweetie Pie. This week's Pet of the Week at the Vanderburgh Humane Society.
Sweetie Pie's Story
Sweetie Pie is a 6-year-old terrier mix and one of those animals that truly lives up to her name. According to the VHS, and as you can see in the video above, she's more interested in getting pets and going on walks than she is in chasing after toys. Sweetie Pie found her way to the VHS as a transfer from Evansville Animal Care & Control. Not much is known about her past, but it's clear from the video she's never met a stranger.
If you'd like to take her in and make her the newest member of your family, her adoption fee is $150 which includes everything all the adoption fees at the VHS include; her spaying, microchipping, and vaccinations. All of which would be way more expensive if you paid for them individually.
You can get a jump on the adoption process for Sweetie Pie or any of the animals you might be interested in at the VHS by filling out some of the paperwork in advance on the VHS website.
