Indiana Shelter Dog in Need of Home to Live Out His Golden Years

Meet our Pet of the Week from the Vanderburgh Humane Society who is looking to live out his golden years with a new forever family.

Jack's Story

Jack is a 12-year-old whose favorite thing in the world is getting petted on as you can tell from the video above. According to the VHS, he walks very gingerly on a leash, does not jump up on people, and is all-around gentle. He would love to spend his golden years snoozing on the couch and giving you loads of kisses. But, despite his age, Jack still has a little spunk to him from time to time and has been known to get a case of the "zoomies" every once in a while.

Jack's adoption fee is $150 which covers the cost of everything all adoption fees at the VHS includes; neutering, up-to-date vaccinations, and microchipping. However, you could take Jack home for $0 thanks to the Humane Society's Seniors for Seniors program which waives the adoption fee for anyone over the age of 65.
