This little señorita is looking for her forever home. Let's learn more about this week's pet of the week.

The Warrick Humane Society is an established no-kill shelter in Newburgh, Indiana. The shelter offers a safe place for animals to stay until they are adopted. Since the Warrick Humane Society does not receive any government funding, it relies on donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers to operate the shelter. They also have the Home Away Pet Spa, a grooming and boarding facility for the community, where all proceeds help the animals in the shelter.
The Warrick Humane Society has so many great cats and dogs in their care that need a loving forever home. So, there is an excellent likelihood that the WHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! That's why we are excited for this new partnership with WHS to feature a pet of the week every Thursday! Let's meet this week's Pet of the Week

Don't worry, this Salsa isn't spicy; in fact, she's very sweet. Salsa is just a little pup, and she is patiently awaiting a loving family to take her to her new forever home. Here's what the Warrick Humane Society had to say about Salsa:

This week’s Pet of the Week is Salsa! Salsa is a 1.5-year-old Catahoula/Terrier mix who has been waiting 76 days for a home of her own, and we know her perfect match is out there. Weighing 30 lbs, she’s the ideal medium size with a huge personality and an even bigger heart.

Salsa is playful, smart, and full of energy, but she also has a soft side and loves spending time with her people. She’s the kind of dog who will zoom around during playtime and then happily curl up beside you afterward. She’s super sweet, affectionate, and always eager for attention.

She is up to date on vaccines, deworming, and prevention, microchipped, and spayed. To help her find the loving home she deserves, her adoption fee is 20% off.

If you are thinking about adding a new furry family member, it sounds like Salsa is an ideal family dog. You can meet her at the WHS today!
