This little girl is looking for her forever home. Let's learn more about this week's pet of the week.

The Warrick Humane Society is an established no-kill shelter in Newburgh, Indiana. The shelter offers a safe place for animals to stay until they are adopted. Since the Warrick Humane Society does not receive any government funding, it relies on donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers to operate the shelter. They also have the Home Away Pet Spa, a grooming and boarding facility for the community, where all proceeds help the animals in the shelter.
The Warrick Humane Society has so many great cats and dogs in their care that need a loving forever home. So, there is an excellent likelihood that the WHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! That's why we are excited for this new partnership with WHS to feature a pet of the week every Thursday! Let's meet this week's Pet of the Week

This beautiful pup is very shy, sweet, and loving. Kali is just a little pup, and she is patiently awaiting a loving family to take her to her new forever home. Here's what the Warrick Humane Society had to say about Salsa:

This week’s Pet of the Week is Kali! Kali is a 7-month-old Pointer mix who is ready to find her forever home after being returned through no fault of her own. She originally came to us as a young puppy, and while she was very loved, her previous home simply wasn’t the right fit — especially with young children, who made her nervous. We know her perfect match is out there, and we’re hoping this is her week!

Kali is a sweet, shy, and playful girl once she feels safe. She adores toys with squeakers, enjoys spending time with other dogs, and has already learned so much for her age. She has started potty training, is crate trained, leash trained, and rides well in the car. She would do best in a calm home, ideally with older kids or adults who can help her continue to blossom with patience and gentle encouragement.

She is up to date on vaccines, deworming, and prevention, and she is microchipped and spayed — fully ready to go home! Kali’s a wonderful young dog with so much potential, and we can’t wait for her to find the family she truly belongs with. Her adoption fee is 20% off to help her find her forever family!

If you are thinking about adding a new furry family member, it sounds like Kali is an ideal family dog. You can meet her at the WHS today!
