This fun-loving boy is looking for his forever home as our Vanderburgh Humane Society Pet of the Week.

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them of all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats that have been around for a while. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle! Each week we feature a pet of the week from the VHS along with Piece of Cake Bakery, and this week we've got a good boy looking for a great home.

Meet Chance...

Here's what the Vanderburgh Humane Society says about Chance:

Have you considered adopting an older pup? If so, meet Meet 9-year-old Chance! He ended up at the VHS after his previous owner passed away. Shy at first, Chance has come out of his shell and is an easy to love boy who loves attention. Belly rubs, ear scratches, a gentle game of tug o’ war, or just hanging out beside you–Chance is down for anything! He gets along well with other dogs, but would do better in a home with big kids and no cats! His adoption fee is only $50 until this Saturday (November 16th.) Here’s your chance to adopt the best boy, apply online at vhslifesaver.org.
