One study says that this Indiana city is the most stressed in the entire state. Do you think you know what it is?

Indiana towns are really a hot topic lately. When it comes to Indiana, we have no shortage of small towns with a few big cities scattered in there too. Everyone has small-town pride nowadays. Recently we have covered many of these towns in articles such as the worst small towns in Indiana, an Indiana small town that makes you feel like you are in a Hallmark movie, the best must-visit small town in Indiana, the best small town in IndianaHGTV naming this Indiana town as the most charming in the state, and the most expensive place to live in Indiana.

Now, most of these studies highlight Indiana towns in a positive light. Every so often, you will see some that aren't so positive. Case in point, Zippia released a study of the most stressed city in each state. Now look, we all get stressed. It doesn't matter where you live, stress is always around. Whether it be stress over money, commutes, family, friends, or sports, everyone experiences stress. That being said, which Indiana city experiences the most stress? Let's find out.

This is the Most Stressed City in Indiana

To determine which cities were the most stressed, Zappia said they did so by:

Using the most recent data from the U.S. Census American Community Survey for 2013-2017 and BLS, we ranked each city in America in the following criteria:

Unemployment

Hours Worked

Commute Times

Income-To-Home-Price Ratio

Percent of Uninsured Population

The higher a city ranked in any of these areas, the more stressed it was. We then took a closer look at each of the 50 states and ranked the cities in each state from most stressed to least stressed.

Now that we got that out of the way, you're probably curious about which Indiana city is the most stressed. That "honor" goes to the city of Bloomington. Zappia's data shows the following for Bloomington:

Hours Worked: 43
Commute: 15
Income-to-Home-Price Ratio: 6.54%

Based on that data, Bloomington is the most stressed city in the state. However, based on some other data that I have seen, Bloomington is also (apparently) the rudest city in Indiana and on top of that, the college town also was named as one of the most dangerous cities in the state. Would you agree or disagree that Bloomington is the most stressed city in Indiana?
