The annual Red Cross Heroes campaign is in full swing with hopes of raising $200,000 this year. One of the big events in that campaign is the DIne Out event, which is this Wednesday April 23rd at area restaurants. Participating restaurants will donate a portion of the day's proceeds back to the Red Cross. The money raised will help with disaster relief, CPR & First Aid training, Blood Collection, Services to Armed Forces and many more.

Every dollar you spend at participating restaurants on Wednesday will go a long way toward helping the Red Cross reach that $200,000 goal for this year's campaign. We have seen that need first hand thanks to a brutal winter and a recent fire at Sugar Mill Creek apartments for example.

The Red Cross does not have an outside source that provides funding; the only money the Red Cross has available is what it can raise through it's fundraisers, which is why the Heroes Campaign is so important. The Red Cross would not be able to do what they do without your help. Click here for a list of participating restaurants in the Tri-State.
