Can you twirl a baton that's on fire? Maybe you can contort your body in a cool way that people can't look away from. Maybe you're the next comedian the world needs to hear. Do you have the best voice but never got your big break? Six Strings on Franklin has your chance to showcase your talent and possibly make some money for it! The second annual Six Strings Got Talent competition will begin Thursday, September 3rd at 7 pm. The contest will continue weekly until a winner is chosen. Open to all talents, the contest will run for several weeks, narrowing the competition down to the best of the best. The registration fee is $15, but the winner takes home a $5,000 cash prize, a new guitar from Moore Guitars, and funds raised throughout the contest go towards local charities (see below). Each registrant will receive a free appetizer the first night they perform. This competition is NOT limited to singers! They want everything from jugglers and jazz musicians to breakdancers and bubble blowers. Whatever your talent is, you've got a shot at the big prize!

Six Strings Got Talent is a Community Fundraiser

While we all love a good show, especially when the tri-state's talents are on display, the best part of this shin-dig is that Six Strings on Franklin uses this opportunity to raise money for local charities. Last year's competition raised over $5,000 through the voting process, which was donated to Granted House of Hope, an excellent local non-profit. This year's beneficiary will be TOUCH INC, a non-profit organization assisting cancer patients in Vanderburgh and Warrick counties. Check out Six Strings on Franklin's website and get signed up today!
