Help The Pep Club Replace The Castle Knight Mascot

I scream, you scream, we all scream for...a new mascot costume! Do what now? The Castle High School Pep Club is in dire need of a new Castle Knight mascot costume (Sir Cecil). Their current costume is over 17 years old and, needless to say, torn and tattered. A costume this old does not have the best air flow or ventilation, but newer models allow for these things and more. Believe it or not, I actually got my start in radio by wearing the old WKDQ mascot costume, the infamous Rabbit. I can attest to the fact that this sucker stinks! Check out some throwbacks of the Rabbit and Sir Cecil below.

Support The Pep Club With A Rally Towel Or Donation

The Castle Pep Club works hard year-round to bring excitement, spirit, and cheer to their school. To help fund their goal of a new costume, the pep club has partnered with Bertram Chiropractic to sell Knight rally towels. Dr. Matthew Bertram is a Castle graduate who decided to bring his practice home to Newburgh and is always giving back to the community in which he was raised. Thanks to his partnership, the pep club can sell the rally towels you see below for $20, with all proceeds going toward a new costume. If you would like to support your community, get your rally towel today by contacting Amanda Antey at aantey@warrick.k12.in.us. You may also contact the school at 812-853-3313 to make a donation or for further information.
