Social Media Threat Against Evansville Student Was Hoax

A social media threat that was made against an Evansville Student was deemed to be a hoax by the Evansville Police Department.

After investigating the social media post on Sunday, The EPD determined that the post was part of an investigation in Albemarle County Virginia.

The post read "Don't Go to school Tomorrow @MHS. student" and showed a picture of guns.

According to the EPD, police in Virginia have made an arrest in the case.
