Pumpkin spice bacon? Yep, it's a real thing, and it's back in 2026.

We are entering the notorious "Pumpkin Spice Season," and everyone is excited to soak in all things pumpkin spice. Soon, you will be seeing all kinds of pumpkin spice products on the market. Of course, you'll have the notorious Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, pumpkin spice donuts, and other desserts, but there are always a few products announced each year that are quite questionable.

In years past, we have seen some pretty odd and unnecessary pumpkin spice products in stores. We've seen things like Pumpkin Spice Deodorant, pumpkin spice bubble gum; heck, SPAM released a pumpkin spice flavor in the past. A couple of years ago, we were even introduced to a pumpkin spice pairing that I don't think anyone saw coming: Pumpkin Spice Ramen Noodles. It doesn't stop there; Milanta has released a pumpkin spice liquid antiacid/gas, and even Dude Wipes have sold pumpkin spice-scented wipes for your bum. That's actually kind of funny because they called them "DUMPkin Spice" wipes.

Now on to a pumpkin spice-flavored product that was released last year, and is back for 2026. I have to admit, if it weren't August, I'd think that this was some kind of April Fool's Day joke. However, that's not the case. Returning to stores in 2026 is pumpkin spice...bacon?!

Pumpkin Spice Bacon Available for a Limited Time

Limited-batch Hatfield Pumpkin Spice-flavored thick-cut bacon is back in stores now. Look, I love bacon, and I feel like bacon is one of those things that doesn't need to have odd or unique flavors. Bacon is delicious on its own. But to make it pumpkin spice flavored...it might be the only time I've not said "yes" to bacon.

Hatfield appears to be regional to the East Coast and the southern United States, so this isn't something you can find in stores all throughout the country. However, Hatfield's website has a store locator to see if products are sold near you. As it turns out, there are a few places that sell Hatfield bacon in the Evansville area. They include Schnucks, Meijer, and Kroger, according to their website.

According to the website Meat & Poultry, Hatfield is making its bacon product available for shipment from August 1st through October 31st to retailers and food services. So if you want to get your hands on pumpkin spice bacon, by all means, go for it. Let us know if it is good or if it's an abomination when you do!
