Monster Jam Returns To Evansville's Ford Center In 2022

The most action-packed motorsports experience in the world for families is making its way to the Ford Center for a weekend full of excitement.

Monster Jam is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2022 with heated rivalries, high-flying stunts, and fierce head-to-head battles, and Evansville gets to be a part of the celebration. It's a weekend jam-packed with fun for the entire family.

Evansville Monster Jam Arena Championship Series East is set to return to the Ford Center on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24, 2022. If you have ever been to a Monster Jam event, you already know about how amazing these drivers are when they are behind the wheel of the 12,000-pound Monster Jam trucks. Those who have never been to a Monster Jam event, you're going to want to make plans to bring the family to the Ford Center to see these "monster trucks" push all limits in Freestyle, Skills, Donuts, and Racing competitions.

The winner of the Monster Jam Arena Championship Series East will l receive an automatic bid to the Monster Jam World Finals to compete for the title of
World Champion. A lot will be on the line in Evansville when Monster Jam comes to town with some of the most iconic monster trucks of all time such as Grave Digger, El Toro Loco, Whiplash, and Dragon.

Outside the major cities, the Hoosier state is full of tiny little towns you've probably passed through on your way to one of those cities. Most of them are likely 100 to 150 years old, or older, and have been around far longer than the large metropolitan areas such as Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, South Bend, and Evansville. Typically, they were started by early settlers who found their way to the state and decided to make it home. Eventually, others would join them, and a community was formed. Over time, as the surrounding areas grew, most of them were folded into those areas and governed by the nearest city or county's governing body officially making them "unincorporated," meaning they did not have their own formally organized municipal government.
