America’s Cheapest Grocery Chain Has 84 Indiana Locations
The cheapest grocery store in America is in Indiana, and chances are you've noticed some savings if you have shopped there.
I don't know about you, but one of my least favorite things to do as an adult is to go grocery shopping. It costs so much to get so little nowadays. I'm sure you'll agree that when you go to the checkout to purchase your groceries, you are always shocked by the fact that you spent a whole lot of money even though your cart isn't even half full. Oh, and don't even get me started on the price of groceries in a full cart. On top of that, when you have eggs as expensive as they are right now, you'll want to go somewhere where you know you'll find savings.
We all have our favorite grocery stores to shop at. These are the ones that we feel give us the best bang for our buck. I enjoy places like Ruler Foods because I really can tell the difference in price at checkout compared to something like Walmart. That being said, there are all kinds of grocery stores across the state of Indiana that pride themselves in their lower prices.

Recently, we wrote about how two of the worst grocery stores in the entire country can be found in Indiana. Now let's talk about an article from Delish that found the cheapest grocery chains in America. Do you have a guess as to which grocery chain is the cheapest in America?
America's Cheapest Grocery Chain Has 84 Indiana Locations
According to Delish, the cheapest grocery store in America has a business model that is designed to minimize the cost to the consumer. It may or may not come as a surprise to you that the grocery chain that is the cheapest is none other than Aldi.
Delish goes on to say this about Aldi:
According to Aldi, 90 percent of the products on their shelves are private-label brands. Other things, like the 25 cent returnable deposit to use the shopping carts, bagging your own groceries, and not listening to licensed music on the overhead speakers, decrease the store's overhead costs, which helps keep prices low. And selecting produce out of the crates they came in rather than from aesthetically stacked displays is a small price to pay for cheap groceries.
With 84 locations throughout the state, chances are, you have a store near you to experience the savings first-hand. In the article from Delish, they have a list of the cheapest grocery stores in the country.
