USA Today has revealed the results of their Readers' Choice Award for Best Grocery Store in 2025, and you might be surprised by the results.

Going to the grocery store nowadays is such a pain. It costs so much to get so little. You can have a cart that only has four items, and you are spending close to $100. It's insane. Oh, and don't even get me started on the price of groceries in a full cart.

Now, there are some grocery stores throughout the state that pride themself on great low prices. Personally, I enjoy places like Ruler Foods because I really can tell the difference in price at checkout compared to something like Walmart. In any event, talking about prices at grocery stores is a topic that everyone has an opinion about.

This was a list put together by USA Today. They asked readers to vote for their favorite grocery store based on value, service, and selection. There were some grocery stores on the list that we don't have in Indiana, and even some I had never heard of before. That being said, the winner of the Readers' Choice Award for Best Grocery Store has five Indiana locations. Even though it was a store that was also named one of the most overpriced grocery stores by another source, that grocery store is none other than The Fresh Market.

This Fresh Market focuses on fresh produce and private-label items. I must admit that their cuts of meat are top-notch. Oh, and their pizza is legit! Here's what USA Today had to say about The Fresh Market:

The original Fresh Market was inspired by the food markets of Europe — a place where shoppers could have a more intimate and personalized experience than the warehouse-style supermarkets of the time. The Fresh Market now operates 166 locations in 22 states with a focus on fresh produce and private label items.
