8 Foot Python Coiled Around Dead Woman’s Neck in Indiana Home with 140 Snakes
Well, I won't be sleeping tonight. This is the thing that nightmares are made of.
According to the Indy Star, police found an 8-foot python was coiled around the neck of a dead woman inside a home filled with 140 snakes in Oxford, Indiana.
Nope. Nope. Nope.
Benton County Sheriff's Department officers found the 36-year-old woman's body in a snake-filled home a little before 9 p.m. on Wednesday,
An 8-foot long reticulated python was loosely coiled around her neck. Police think that the snake may have caused the woman's death, but it was too soon to know for sure.
According to the Indy Star, no one lives in the home. The house is made specifically for keeping the snakes. There is no word yet on what the fate of the snakes will be.
That many snakes in one area is literally my worst nightmare. I can't even go into the reptile room at the zoo without freaking out. Not sure why anyone would want a snake, let alone 140 of them, but to each their own. I have seen what those snakes tried to do to Ice Cube and J-Lo in the movie Anaconda...I want no part of that!
