Travel Through Time For A Great Cause

Doesn't everyone wish they could time-travel in some capacity? Maybe it's just me, but I always felt my life would be complete if I could share a peanut butter banana sandwich with Elvis. Since time travel hasn't been successfully invented or made available to the public just yet, I guess we'll have to settle for cool events like the Warrick County Museum fundraiser, Time Travel Ball. Guests will be traveling through the eras of America as we celebrate her 250th year of independence on July 4, 2026. In honor of this momentous occasion, Warrick County America 250 (a nonpartisan project working to engage our community in the 250th anniversary of our country) is hosting the Time Travel Ball fundraiser to benefit all three Warrick County museums. The event will take place at Friedman Park in Newburgh on June 20th from 6-10 pm. Dress in your favorite era's attire, a historical figure, or movie icon, and come to dance! Individual tickets are $50, or you can sponsor a table of eight for $400. Tickets are available for purchase at any of the three Warrick County Museums as well as online here.

Warrick County's Three Museums

I was not aware that Warrick County has three museums, and I grew up in Warrick County! I had to take a virtual field trip and rediscover my own heritage to bring you this amazing event's information. Warrick County is home to the Warrick County Museum, Newburgh Museum, and the Museum of the Coal Industry. For the most part, these non-profits are donation-driven institutions, looking for your support to keep the doors open. Why not have a fun night out, get to know more about the museums telling our history, and celebrate America 250 with a trip through time? How To Tell Someone You're From Warrick County Without Saying You're From Warrick County

There are several ways to tell someone where you're from without actually telling them where you're from. Let's take Warrick County for example.
