The Main Cause of Smoke in Gibson Co. Train Derailment…French Fries

Sunday evening, a train has derailed, near Princeton, with several cars on fire. However, the main culprit behind the smoke is unexpected. Crews are still on the scene of the train derailment today (Monday). We have up to date details on this story here. Yes, you read that right...FRENCH FRIES are what is causing the smoke that folks in Princeton are seeing. The two cars that are on fire were full of french fries. No word yet on what kind of fries were in these two cars. Could they have been for McDonald's? Burger King? Rally's? Or perhaps Arby's? I'm just curious if that area actually smells like french fries or not.

In all seriousness, this is a major situation as folks have been evacuated from their homes and the American Red Cross is on the scene. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported at this time. If you are going to be traveling in the area, you will be experiencing some detours while crews are still on the scene.
