Pink Ribbon Warriors Selling Crafts for Komen This Weekend at Vanderburgh 4-H Craft Show
The Pink Ribbon Warriors of the Evansville Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) are giving you the chance to join the fight against breast cancer in style during their Craft Sale this weekend at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center.
The group, who also host a poker run and bra auction for the Komen Foundation each summer, will be selling handmade bracelets along with bedazzled hats and bras, pink ribbon towel dolls, pink ribbon trivets, and Pink Ribbon Warrior calendars featuring 13 tasteful pictures of their male members wearing the decorated bras from this year's auction.
The group's booth is part of the Extension Homemakers Fine Arts & Craft Show at the 4-H Fairgrounds from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. both days, and will be set up inside the Show Barn. All proceeds from the sale of the Pink Ribbon Warriors items will go toward their total donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Over the past three years, the group's efforts has donated over $25,000 to the Foundation.
Registration is still open for this year's More Than Pink Walk at Eastland Mall coming up on Sunday, September 29th (2019) through the Komen Foundation of Evansville website.
