Newburgh’s Brand New Friedman Park Opens This Weekend! Here’s a Sneak Peek! [WATCH]

Newburgh has a brand new 5.5 million dollar park that you HAVE to check out! The all new Friedman Park will officially open this weekend, but they let me in to show you around! 

Friedman Park is a HUGE addition to Warrick County, with a one mile walking trail, a play ground, amphitheater, huge pavilions with picnic tables you can rent, fire pits, and just about anything you could think of!

Their official ribbon cutting ceremony is this weekend Memorial Day weekend 2017!

Also happening this weekend on May 27 is the Run Victoria 5k which will start and finish in Friedman Park.  100% of the race proceeds go to Warrick Trails. Plus there will be a post race festival in Friedman Park. Live music, food, auction, raffles, kids activities, park tours and more! If you want to get registered to be a part of the Run Victoria, 5K run, 5K walk, or 10K run, you can register here, until midnight on Thursday, but if you don't get registered online by then, you can register at the event on Saturday morning May 27, from 6:30-7:45AM.
