National Only Child Day

Yesterday, everyone shared pictures online of them and their siblings for National Sibling Day. I think it's only fair that today be National Only Child Day! As an only child, that is something to be celebrated. Sure, we have the spoiled or selfish stereotypes, but we all aren't that bad!

While I always wanted a brother or sister,  I knew that wasn't in the cards for me. Being an only child has some pretty awesome perks that having siblings doesn't. You don't have to share a bathroom with someone who takes two hours to get ready, not once will you ever have to compete for attention at a family gathering, but the best one of them all...Christmas is AWESOME! Since you are an only child, YOU get all of the present's. While people with siblings get four or five presents with their name on them under the three, you get ALL of the presents!.....maybe that's why people think we are spoiled....

I took to Facebook earlier today to have the Tri-State join me in celebrating the 1st annual National Only Child Day...and yes, that picture is of little Travis. I used to be so cute...what happened?!
