Kentucky Pizzeria Serves Up One of the Most Unique Pizzas in the State

Chances are, you might not have had a pizza quite like this. It's either genius or crazy.

Who doesn't enjoy pizza? Whether it be hand-tossed, thin crust, or deep dish, no matter what toppings you prefer, there are always some delicious go-to pizzas here in Kentucky. We have so many local pizza restaurants that might not get the love that they deserve. From takeout joints and hole-in-the-wall spots to restaurants, diners, and cafés that serve up tasty slices of pizza, the options are endless.  Honestly, that's where I believe you will find the best pizza in the Bluegrass State, not at some of these major pizza chains.

There's a local pizzeria in Louisville, Kentucky, called Pizzaville. This place serves up a lot of different types of appetizers, calzones, pastas, and, of course, pizza. On that menu, you're going to find traditional pizzas, along with some original creations. One of which happens to be one of the most interesting pizzas that I've ever seen.

Kentucky Pizzeria Serves Up Strange and Unique Pizza

Some food combinations just work; others not so much. Then, there are some that you've probably never even thought to put together. This is one of those examples. Pizzaville has one of the most unique pizza creations. It's one that might sound crazy to some, but to others, it's genius. I'm talking about the Pizzaville Chili Cheese Dog Pizza!

Yes, everything you love about a chili cheese dog, but in pizza form. This pizza is loaded with chili cheese dog sauce, juicy Nathan's beef hot dogs, onions, and cheddar cheese.

Now, I'm not going to lie, I love a good chili cheese dog. Putting it on a pizza kind of makes sense. It's different and unique. Certainly not something that you see every day. On top of that, it's apparently really good too!

Would you try this unique pizza? I know that the next time I make a road trip to Louisville, this will be at the top of my list of things to try.
