The Warrick County Emergency Management Agency is encouraging residents who sustained damage during recent severe weather to report it ASAP. Here's what you need to do.

What an eventful Father's Day we had in the Tri-State last night. As you know, multiple tornado warnings were issued throughout the area during last night's severe weather coverage. Warrick County seemed to get quite a bit of damage, with multiple warnings all over the county. From the reports we have at this moment, it appears that Newburgh got hit pretty hard.

A tornado briefly touched down on the Vanderburgh/Warrick County near Epworth and 66 in Newburgh around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday. The tornado was on the ground for a few minutes, but it was able to cause severe damage to local buildings. Northern Warrick County suffered some damage, along with the Chandler and Boonville areas.

If you or someone you know suffered damage as a result of last night's storms, the Warrick County Emergency Management Agency is urging residents to report the damage immediately.

How to Report Storm Damage in Warrick County

According to a recent post from the Warrick County EMA, residents can submit damage reports online by visiting in211.org and selecting the Damage Reporting option. Those without internet access can call 2-1-1 or 866-211-9966 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. for assistance with filing a report.

Officials will be out today (June 22nd) conducting Damage Assessments to evaluate affected areas and help determine the extent of storm impacts. You can help by reporting your damage and ensuring that you’re added to the list for their teams to visit and assess the damage in your area.
