Indiana is full of a lot of great small towns. As someone who is from a small town in Indiana, I am proud of where I come from. Boonville, Indiana is a great place to raise a family and to call home. I don't care what anyone says. If you have ever traveled through some of these small towns in Indiana, most of these little towns in the state are pretty charming. There's so much hometown pride in these small towns. Recently we have covered many of these small towns in articles such as the worst small towns in Indiana, an Indiana small town that makes you feel like you are in a Hallmark movie, HGTV names the most charming small town in Indiana, and the best must-visit small town in Indiana.
In many of these cases, each accolade is awarded to a different small town in the state. However, when it comes to the coolest small town in Indiana, it's one that has been highlighted in the past.
What is the Coolest Small Town in Indiana?
When it comes to being one of the coolest towns, not only in Indiana but in the entire country, one travel website says that one Indiana town really stands out. Far & Wide, turned to the likes of U.S. News & World Report, Reader's Digest, Architectural Digest, The Travel Channe,l and House Beautiful magazine to determine that Nashville, Indiana is one of the coolest small towns in America.
Why is Nashville the Coolest?
Nashville is a town that I have visited a few times, and it's no surprise to me that it was named the coolest town in Indiana. Here's what Far & Wide says:

As I said, I have been to Nashville, Indiana a few times, and for a small town, there really is a lot to see and do there. From the delicious food, numerous shops, and everything in between, there is something there for everyone in the family to enjoy. Plus it's not far from Brown County State Park, which is perfect for camping and more outdoor fun.
Oh, and if you are looking for great things to see and do in the Fall, Nashville and Brown County is the place to visit. It's absolutely beautiful that time of year. Brown County has been nicknamed the “Little Smokies” because of the area’s resemblance to the Great Smoky Mountains. There, you'll find nearly 16,000 acres of rugged hills, ridges, and fog-shrouded ravines.
