Guns & Hoses 6 with 911 Gives Hope is tonight at the Ford Center beginning at 7pm, doors open at 6pm. All the proceeds from the event will be distributed to children's charities in the Evansville area. Guns & Hoses is a charity boxing match between local police officers and fire fighters, which has grown to one of the biggest sporting events in the area.

Youth Resources (YR) of Southwestern Indiana is great non-profit based here in Evansville whose mission has been to empower young people to take ownership of challenges they see in the community, devise action plans to address those issues, and implement service projects to improve life in the local community through their leadership. It's a mission they've been able to carry out for over 25 years thanks to fundraising efforts like the "Give Back" event coming up tonight.
