Bidding Open for Vanderburgh 4-H Online Auction Fundraiser
Christmas is just a few weeks away, and I'll assume there are still a few (or several) people on your list you still need to find a gift for. Instead of scrolling endlessly through your phone hoping the perfect gifts magically pop up, why not keep your money local and help out the Vanderburgh County 4-H at the same time?
Vanderburgh County 4-H Program Online Auction is Now Open
The Vanderburgh 4-H Progam recently launched an online auction through its Facebook page, giving you the chance to possibly score a great gift for some of the people on your list, or yourself.
The auction features over 20 great items, including a Milwaukee-brand heated jacket which would be perfect for someone on your list whose job requires them to be outside for long periods of time, or that person, like my wife, who just can't stay warm when the temperature drops below 70.
There's also a Makita 7-1/4" circular saw for the woodworker or DIY project fan on your list.
The auction also features gift baskets, gift certificates from Donut Bank and Dewig Meats, handmade wreaths, and Vanderburgh County 4-H packages that include two season passes for the 2024 Fair and two pit passes for the annual Wednesday night concert that week.
How to Bid
Bidding is open now and will close on Friday, December 8th at noon sharp. All you need to do is visit the auction post on the Vanderburgh Co. 4-H Program Facebook page, find the item you want to bid on, and then place your bid in the comments.
Of course, you'll want to check back frequently to make sure you didn't get outbid. All proceeds from the auction will benefit 4-H livestock improvements.
