New Year, New Life Blood Drive Coming to Eastland Mall in Evansville on January 4th

The new year is a popular time for most of us to make an effort to better ourselves in some way. It may be trying to eat better or get in better shape, but it can also include committing to help others. One way to do that is by giving the gift of life with a blood donation during our New Year, New Life Donorama at Eastland Mall with the American Red Cross.

2024 New Year, New Life Blood Drive Returns to Eastland Mall on January 4th

The need for blood is constant. According to the Red Cross, someone in the United States needs blood every two seconds, and donations during the winter months are typically down especially around the holidays as most people are busy shopping for gifts and preparing for holiday get-togethers. Colder and inclement weather also plays a factor as fewer people are inclined to get out of the house if they don't need to. So, if it's been a while since you've donated, the New Year, New Life Blood Drive will be the perfect opportunity to correct that.

The New Year, New Life Blood Drive will take place at the Eastland Mall commons area just past the Food Court in the Dillard's wing on Thursday, January 4th from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM.

The drive will also feature lessons on how to perform hands-only CPR along with free smoke alarm sign-ups.

Appointments are required in advance, and are super easy to set up in one of the following three ways:
