I took a look inside "Happy Tails" resale shop this past Saturday. I've been to most of the others in the Evansville- Owensboro- Henderson area and found this one to be stocked with better quality items and was a bit cleaner than most.  You would expect the prices to be higher but that's not the case.

"Happy Tails" is a thrift shop attached to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society building. (see the map at bottom of this story). It's only open to the public on Saturday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM and judging by the crowd I saw it is very popular. There's no junk accepted . To donate items you can bring them by on Saturday and Weds 9:00 AM until 2:30 PM. Only quality items accepted. That's what keeps the goods moving--high quality merchandise at low prices and every penny goes to the animals at the Humane Society. Nothing is used for salaries or the like. Your money goes straight to homeless animals. You can get plenty more info by visiting https://www.vhslifesaver.org/get-involved/happy-tails-resale-shop.

Just to give you an idea of what you might find, here are some photos I snapped while I was there on Jan 18:

That's a sampling from Jan 18 and I can't promise all those items will still be there this coming Saturday but I can promise "Great Tails" will be full of great items and good low prices. Here's how to find the Vanderburgh Humane Society and the attached resale shop. It sits off West Morgan between N. First and Garvin Park:
