To be over 50 and unemployed in today's economy is extremely difficult, but a new survey says there is a light at the end of the tunnel for older workers. For several years now we have heard how hard it is for 50-plus aged workers to land a new job, especially at the level they were at when they lost their previous job...

The old stereotype of a cheapskate or tightwad usually involves hiding money in a mattress, usually the one they sleep on. Believe it or not, more and more people are hiding money at home because of a growing distrust of banks and other financial institutions. I know an individual here in Evansville who hides money in his garden for crying out loud...the garden!!

Our Company Christmas party is tonight, which is something I look forward to each year and early this morning I read a new survey that didn't really surprise me, but some of the numbers did.

Texting and driving is dangerous, on that we all agree. Recent statistics tell us that texting and driving is as dangerous as drunk driving yet, we still do it and in big numbers. Tripe A recently conducted a survey and found out that 95-percent of all drivers agree that texting and driving is dangerous, but 35-percent still do it.
