Westsiders will be happy to know that the beer brewed with Ski soda is back, as well as another interesting brew inspired by a popular sandwich.

Maiden's Brewery & Pub in Evansville has been known to make some pretty unique beer. Two of which were designed with Evansvillians in mind. Last year they released a Grippo's flavored beer. I went there to try it and it was pretty darn good.

Not too long after I sampled that beer, they released the perfect partner to their Grippo's beer. You guessed it, Ski beer! I was bummed that I didn't get the chance to try it. Some of my co-workers did, and they loved it. Since they dropped the brew from their lineup (which changes quite often), I have been waiting on the day that they would bring back the Ski beer known as Bonnie.

Well, that day is today!

Maiden's took to social media to announce the return of Bonnie. Like most of their brews, Bonnie will only be available for a limited time. So, if  you're like me and didn't get to try it the first time it came out, now is your chance.

They also released another unique beer the other day that you might find intriguing. It's called Sammie, and it is a Peanut Butter and Jelly flavored ale. Now, I can't try it because I am allergic to peanuts, but it is brewed with concord grape juice and real peanut butter.  I know that there are a lot of Tri-Staters that love peanut butter and jelly, as well as beer. You'll have to try it out and see if the combination is any good.
