It appears that nobody won the Powerball drawing on Wednesday. That means that the jackpot went from $460 million to $550 million for this Saturday's drawing. This jackpot is the eighth highest lottery prize in U.S. history, according to ABC News.

If you are feeling lucky, I suggest you going to your local convenience store and purchasing a Powerball ticket or two. $550 million is a lot of money that we all could use! Now, if you were to win the lottery, you have two options. You can take a lump sum upfront, or receive payments. This is how it would work out according to ABC News:

The $550 million amount refers to the annuity payout option, in which the winner receives 30 payments over 29 years. The cash prize would be nearly $348 million before taxes.

Good luck to you...and if you win, remember who told you about the jackpot and send a couple of bucks my way!
