Yes, you can actually rent your own private island for around $100 a night at certain times of the year. This place is located in Swansboro, North Carolina and it's beautiful. It's a Tiny House Cabin located on a 4-acre private island.

No boat? No problem. We have a licensed captain that will get you to and from the island included in your booking. This is a glamping experience. Prepare for your trip as you would for a tent camping expedition. However, we have many creature comforts including a generator, rain barrel non-potable water, AIR CONDITIONING, infrared fireplace, charcoal grill, propane cooktop, and even a hot water shower!
This is a pack-in/pack-out location. Anything you bring with you must be taken off the island. Please be respectful of the marine environment.
The Tiny House Cabin is actually big enough to fit six people so if you stayed a full week you would only pay $121 a person for a private island vacay.

Your captain will bring you to the dock upon arrival. Here you will disembark for a tour of the island and local environment.
Bring your boat or hop a ride with your very own Captain! Captain Mikey is a Naval Academy Alum and local to Swansboro. You can't ask for a deeper well of knowledge. Once on the island you have kayaks provided to move from shore to island.

Tiny House Cabin and dock on John Jones Island. The island has been a famous meeting place for Native Americans and Pirates over the years do to its location on what is now the Intra Coastal Waterway.
On the right is the ICW with deep draft accessibility. On the left is a famous calm water anchorage that's been used for centuries to tuck in from the Atlantic. 4 acres of gorgeous Island in total for your private use.
First bed in the Tiny House Cabin. Imagine listening to the water and feeling the breeze.
Propane for high BTU burners is provided for our guests. Your captain and eco-guide Captain Mikey will walk you through everything should you have questions.
Step off the back deck into your own private paradise.
You can fish off the dock or just sit and watch the day go by.
