Night Construction Planned For Twin Bridges This Thursday

Traffic will be altered on Thursday Evening along the Twin Bridges due to construction work.

According to a press release from the Kentucky Department of Transportation, there will be lane restrictions along the Twin Bridges starting around 6PM on Thursday evening.

"An electrical crew plans work on the southbound bridge starting around 6 p.m., CST, on Thursday.  Work on the southbound bridge is expected to take 3 to 5 hours to complete.  The electrical crew will then move to the northbound bridge for an estimated 3 to 5 hours.  All work on both bridges should be completed by 6 a.m., CST, on Friday morning."

Drivers along the bridge should expect to see a reduced speed limit and lane restrictions while work is being done.
