Newburgh & Chandler Libraries Hosting Food for Fines Through April 14!
If you're like me, and terrible procrastinating, chances are you may have a late fee from the library. Ohio Township Public Libraries are hosting Food for Fines, where you can donate food to cover your late fees! Details here!
This week April 8-14th is National Library week, and to celebrate Ohio Township Public Libraries are doing something really cool, it's called Food for Fines. It's a fun way to pay off your library fine, while helping out the community.
Going on until April 14th you can stop by any Ohio Township Public Library, and donate unopened non perishable food items, the items can be canned or boxed. They also want to help out our furry friends, and will be accepting pet food donations as well! At the end of the week the libraries will take the food to local food banks, and pet shelters.
Your donation will cover up to $25 in late fees! Of course, you don't have to have a late fee to donate, you can stop by any of the Ohio Township Public Libraries and donate if you would like to!
