Nashville Recording Artist & Cornhole Tourney This Saturday at Benefit For Local Man with Leukemia
This Saturday there is a really fun fundraiser going on, and it's going to help a local family pay off medical bills.
On Saturday September 29th Nashville recording artist Sean Stemaly will be performing live music from 8PM-midnight at French Island Marina 8983 W. River Road, Rockport Indiana 47635.
At 6PM they will start serving BBQ plate dinners for $10/plate and upon purchase you'll receive a raffle ticket to win all kinds of things donated by the community. There will also be a cornhole tourney at 4PM with $20 buy in. All money raised will be going to the Roe family to help with the mounding medical bills that unfortunately also come with battling cancer.
Cancer is one of those nasty things that unfortunately have affected too many peoples lives. This time it's affected Jordan Roe. He's young too, only in his 20s. This especially touches my heart, as I have been friends with Jordan's brother Jacob for a long time! Jacob and I grew up together. I also know what it's like to have someone in your immediate family affected by Leukemia, my dad is a Leukemia survivor. So on all fronts this story has especially touched my heart.
I have no doubt in my mind that Jordan is young, and strong, and going to completely kick cancers butt! In the mean time, the community is rallying to help take care of the Roe family, because the last thing they need is to worry about bills.
So if you'd like to join, Macie McNail and Jessi McManus as they dedicate their birthdays this year to hosting a benefit for Jordan Roe and his family, stop by and enjoy some BBQ, cornhole, and live music to help out a really awesome family.
