Nashville, Indiana

If you've never been to Nashville, Indiana you need to make plans to visit sometime!   Nashville is a quaint town that's perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the world today. My husband and I took a weekend getaway to Nashville a couple of years ago, and we had the best time.  We went at the tail end of winter in March, and it was perfect to get away without having to go too terribly far from home.

1891 Schoolhouse Inn

Located in Nashville sits an old schoolhouse that has been completely renovated and turned into a cozy little inn. As you can guess by the name, this schoolhouse first opened in 1891 and was once a one-room schoolhouse.

According to the Airbnb listing the schoolhouse closed in the 1950s and was left vacant for nearly 3 decades.  It was later purchased by a pastor in 1983 and used as a weekend getaway.   In 2016 the schoolhouse was completely renovated and turned into the quaint little inn that it's used as today.
