Where to Find the Largest Movie Screen in Kentucky
Looking for a movie experience like no other on a cold Kentucky winter day? You might want to catch a Hollywood blockbuster on Kentucky's largest movie screen!
One of my favorite things to do on my time off is to go see a movie at the theater. Anytime a big Hollywood blockbuster comes out, I always tend to see it in the IMAX theater where I'm from. Watching a movie in a theater like that is really special. In a way, it makes you feel like you are immersed in the world that you are watching on the big screen. You can't get that same feeling watching a movie from the comfort of your own couch. While the IMAX screen at my local theater is massive, it's still not the biggest movie screen in the state of Kentucky. In fact, after doing a little research, I have found the biggest movie screen in the Bluegrass State, and it sounds like a road trip is in order.

Where is the Biggest Movie Screen in Kentucky?
We have a lot of movie theaters scattered all throughout the state, but none of them have a screen as big as the LFX screen at LexLive in Lexington. The LFX theater inside of the entertainment center boasts that it is the largest movie screen in the state of Kentucky. Several posts on their Facebook page, highlighting new movies coming out, say this about the largest movie screen in Kentucky:
Our LFX (Large Format Experience) Auditorium houses a MASSIVE 80 foot wide screen! Paired with the IMMERSIVE Dolby Atmos Surround technology, LFX is a truly one-of-a-kind movie experience. Come watch the newest films and relax in our luxurious, leather, temperature controlled recliners.
Not only does this theater show all the latest Hollywood blockbusters, but it also hosts live sporting events too, which is cool. On top of the largest movie screen in Kentucky, LexLive also has bowling lanes, an arcade, and a sports bar.
Of course, if you live in that area and have been to the LFX theater at LexLive, this is nothing special for you. However, folks like myself who have never been to that theater before would be like a kid in a candy store.
