Tell City Cinema 66 Hits The Market

Everyone has dreams, and as a child, one of mine was always to own my own movie theater. I thought this was something everyone dreamed about in some capacity. For southern Indiana dreamers, this could finally become your reality! With a prime location off Highway 66 in Tell City, this property offers a centralized location to serve its future customers. The smaller cinemas have always been my favorite, and this one reminds me of the old two-screen cinema in my hometown of Newburgh, Indiana. Untouched by the updates and upgrades of most modern-day movie theaters, just walking into this cinema will give you all the feels of the 90s Hollywood circuit. Additionally, the ticket prices are reflective of the 90s, too! Matinee prices start at $4, and evening shows begin at $6.

How To Buy Your New Movie Theater

If you're curious as to what it might take to own a cinema, the current owners can be contacted via the cinema's Facebook page. Currently, the cinema is a four-screen facility with all the common offerings of a movie theater. To see what they're currently playing and for ticket information, check out their website. As every good local business should, they're offering different viewing experiences and free movies to their customers! On Tuesday, December 23, you can catch a free viewing of Elf, which is considered their free Christmas movie this year. On November 26, the cinema will be offering a sensory-friendly showing of Zootopia 2 at 10 am. Unlike most common movie viewings, this one encourages lights up, volume down, and talking is welcome.
