Kentucky needs to stop being so distracted while driving because they found themselves near the top of a list that isn't one to be proud of.

We all have heard of the term distracted driving, right? Most people associate that term with being on their cell phones, texting, or scrolling through social media while driving. However, there's much more than just being on your phone that can be considered distracted driving. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says:

Distracted driving is any activity that diverts attention from driving, including talking or texting on your phone, eating and drinking, talking to people in your vehicle, fiddling with the stereo, entertainment or navigation system — anything that takes your attention away from the task of safe driving.
