When is the Newburgh, Indiana Chick-fil-A Opening?
Warrick County residents have been eager and anticipating when the first Chick-fil-A location in the county will open. We have that answer...finally!
Newburgh is an ever-growing city in Warrick County. Businesses are making their way into town right and left. The city is full of great fast-food restaurants. It's no secret that one of, if not, the most popular restaurants is Chick-fil-A. Last year, the company confirmed that they would be opening up a location in Newburgh. If you have driven down Highway 66, you have most likely seen the progress of the first Chick-fil-A location in Warrick County.
The new location will be just over 5,100 square feet and is located at 8091 Park Place Drive between the Sherman-Williams paint store and Raben Tire. As previously mentioned, this new location will be the company's first in Warrick County and its sixth in the area. It currently has one location on the University of Southern Indiana campus, another on the University of Evansville campus, one inside Eastland Mall, and two stand-alone stores; one on Indiana Street off of Cross Pointe Boulevard that consistently has three rows of drive-thru traffic wrapped around its building, and the most recent location on the lot that was once home to Burger King at the corner of Rosenberger Avenue and the Lloyd Expressway on Evansville's east side. Like you, I too have been wondering when this new location would open. As it turns out, we don't have too much longer to wait.
So, When Will Newburgh's Chick-fil-A Open?
The countdown is on! Chick-fil-A Cross Pointe took to social media on July 22nd to make the big announcement. Mark your calendar for Thursday, August 1st. That's when Warrick County residents will be able to enjoy the Newburgh location for the first time.
Aside from Sundays, there's not a time when you drive by that you see a line of cars waiting to get some delicious chicken sandwiches and waffle fries from Chick-fil-A. I'm sure that this location will be no different. This is exciting news for Warrick County, and I can't wait!
